Noah was a student at Westchester Academy prior to the events of M-Day. He was practicing his abilities in the pool when Scarlet Witch removed the X-Gene from most mutants on Earth. Despite the best efforts of Emma Frost and Wolverine, Hydro drowned in the pool before he could be rescued.
