Melody is the sister of X-Men members Husk, Cannonball, and Icarus. She is the fourth in a family of ten, and was the fourth to manifest her powers. She had only barely joined the Xavier Institute when she lost her powers in M-Day. She was rescued by Beast when she jumped off a building, convinced she still had her mutant abilities. She survived Decimation, and lives back on the farm with her mother and her other non powered siblings
