Avengers Vs. X-Men Aftermath[]

After the events of Avengers Vs. X-Men and the aftermath in Avengers Vs. X-Men: Consequences, either because Cyclops chose to or because the writers decided he needed to look different than his younger self that was brought from the past by Beast, Cyclops decided to sport an entire different attire. During the first stage of Marvel NOW! wave of titles and during the first issues of Uncanny X-Men Volume 3, Cyclops now has a scarlet red suit with an all-new X-shaped visor. The visor's shape may reflect Cyclops' use of the X symbol as part of his mutant revolution (though he does not refer his movement that way) - he recently left a X marked on the face of the warden in the prison he was incarcerated because of the warden's injustice against mutant inmates. The costume also includes an utility belt, to evoke a more superheroic look.
