General Chasen is a member of the Canadian military. Chasen was present when Wolverine first met Professor X in a Department H board room. Chasen objected to suddenly leaving Department H, citing how much money was put into his Weapon X upgrades. Unlike when the Professor offered to take Nightcrawler away from his unpleasant situation, it seems Xavier did not interfere while leaving the building with Wolverine.
The General later pursued Logan with the department and Alpha Flight, making several attempts to retrieve him.
